Each template is added to your plan as a new layout, with nobody seated yet. Your guests and your other layouts stay as they are, and one Undo takes it away.
It's three steps, and all of them are free. Seatwell doesn't seat people for you. You choose every seat, and it keeps count as you go.
Choose the one nearest your guest count and the tables your venue has. It doesn't need to be exact. You can add or remove tables once it's open.
If your plan already has guests, they're ready to seat. If not, type names one per line, paste rows from a spreadsheet, or choose a CSV file. Seatwell matches the name, party, meal and notes columns, and you can change any match.
Drag guests to tables on a computer, or tap Seat guests on a phone. Then print your seating list by table or A to Z, or make a sign for the entrance.
A template is only a starting point. Every table in it is a normal table you can edit.
Round, rectangle and long tables seat guests all the way round or on both sides. Head and sweetheart tables seat one side, facing the room.
Divide your guest count by the seats at each table, then round up. Count a head or sweetheart table first, and take those guests off the total.
Not sure yet? Start with an empty plan in the free seating chart maker and add your guests. Seatwell then suggests how many round tables of 8 fit them, and adds them for you in one tap.
| Guests | Round tables of 8 | Round tables of 10 |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 7 | 5 |
| 80 | 10 | 8 |
| 100 | 13 | 10 |
| 120 | 15 | 12 |
| 150 | 19 | 15 |
| 200 | 25 | 20 |
Your prints come from your guest list and tables, so add guests before you print. Seatwell doesn't print a drawing of the room.
